INTEGRATED MEDIA ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 

 

The Milwaukee Radio Alliance (Milwaukee, WI) has an opening for a full-time Integrated Media Account Executive. The MRA is an independently owned, locally programmed, community-focused integrated media company that offers our clients radio, event promotions & digital marketing solutions.

The stations under the MRA umbrella include WLDB 93.3 (AC), WLUM FM102/1 (Alternative Rock) & WZTI FONZ-FM (Oldies).

We are looking for a proactive, well-rounded, adaptable sales and/or marketing guru with a love of
music & entertainment to drive an increase in sales and revenue for our stations.

Responsibilities:

● Design, create and deliver customized advertising proposals/presentations
● Present client solutions by building rapport and delivering results through integrated digital and
radio campaigns
● Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects
in Rumple (CRM platform)
● Identify new opportunities and develop persuasive proposals to meet each client/agency
evolving needs
● Foster and nurture relationships with the existing client base
● Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets
● Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction
● Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads
Qualifications
● 2-5 years of successful media sales experience, a PLUS
● Digitally savvy and desire to create integrated marketing campaigns for clients
● Excellent communication skills – strong presenter to clients of integrated media opportunities
and post-sale successes
● Ability to use both an analytical and creative mindset
● Positive attitude for troubleshooting and timely resolution
● Must be highly organized and able to handle several projects at one time while also working on
tight deadlines
● Experience using Nielsen, WideOrbit, Media Monitors, Futuri and/or Rumple, a PLUS.

● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred

DIGITAL MEDIA SALES MANAGER

The Milwaukee Radio Alliance (Milwaukee, WI) has an opening for a passionate and motivated full-time Digital Media Sales Manager. The MRA is an independently owned, locally programmed, community-focused integrated media company that offers our clients radio, event promotions & digital marketing solutions.

The stations under the MRA umbrella include WLDB 93.3, WLUM FM102/1 & WZTI FONZ-FM.

As our business needs have evolved, we have a need to hire someone dedicated to focusing on our digital advertising solutions to our local market clients. You’ll be the key liaison, providing clients with unique, creative & innovative multi-media advertising ideas that will help them drive their marketing goals and objectives.

As the Digital Media Sales Manager, you will be responsible for pursuing digital advertising sales with regional & local clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital media advertising platforms, data performance analytics and emerging trends in the digital marketing landscape. You will work independently and collaboratively with our sales team to identify targets, conduct client needs analysis meetings and present/close business.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and pitch multi-media advertising campaigns to potential clients
● Work hands-on with VP of Marketing & Sales to maximize opportunities and grow revenue in our
current markets
● Assist Radio Account Executives with digital media strategy and proposal development
● Win digital clients through new business development efforts including prospecting, scheduling
face to face and virtual appointments with potential clients
● Deliver compelling, customized marketing presentations with confidence
● Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction
● Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads
● Negotiate rates and ensure prompt payments
● Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular
reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis using CRM
● Oversee campaign launch, assist with the creative process and gather all needed sales collateral
including logos, artwork, images, keywords, geofence locations, qualitative & quantitative
datasets and other information as necessary
● Present analytics and performance updates to the client and onboard them with the use of our dashboard

Qualifications:

● 1-3 years of successful digital and/or traditional media sales experience

● Strong understanding of digital media (display, Social, SEM, CTV, Online Video) and ability to
connect with viable prospects
● Experience with digital advertising self-serve platforms & solutions (Frequence, a plus)
● Excellent communication skills – strong presenter to clients of integrated media opportunities

RADIO ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Account Executive for the Milwaukee Radio Alliance you are responsible for developing and maintaining new clients/Advertisers. You will also keep and grow client relationships and offer solutions to help advertisers achieve the business goals.

Ideal skill sets include but are not limited to honesty, assertiveness, self-motivation, trustworthiness, creativity, negotiation, time management, outstanding customer service, and the ability to work in a fast pace environment . Prior sales experience preferred but not necessary.

Account Executives must drive their own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license and proof of Insurance.

INTERNSHIPS

The Milwaukee Radio Alliance is looking for Promotion Interns for our three very unique radio stations:

B93.3 WLDB-FM; FM 102/1 WLUM-FM; and 100.3FM and 1290AM WZTI-AM FONZ-FM.

 

An internship with the Milwaukee Radio Alliance allows college students to work in an innovative, progressive, fast paced and professional environment.

Students are exposed to all levels of the organization. Along with invaluable knowledge and industry perks for our interns, we work with area accredited institutions to provide course credits as possible. We also offer a flexible schedule to accommodate student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Promotion Department Duties
○ Assist with on site promotions including all aspects of planning, production and
execution of client events, station events and concerts
○ Execute proper technical and physical set-up and breakdown of events; ability to
troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly

● Set up and breakdown of pop-up tents, hanging banners
○ Act as a Brand Ambassador (Represent stations at events in an upbeat, outgoing
and friendly manner by interacting with listeners and registering people to win
prizes)

● General Office Duties
○ Assist with Promotion Program
○ Brainstorm new ideas for promotion and events
○ Review promotional information and graphics
○ Assist with drafting material used for graphics, press releases, webpage, social media and email blasts
